Yes, I know that technically it’s called International Comic Con, but most of us still think of it as SDCC.
I intend to have a wonderful time. My personal schedule has me on the Epic Fantasy Panel at 4 on Thursday. Brent Weeks will be attempting to moderate Joe Abercrombie, Ray Feist, Django Wexler, Morgan Rhodes, Patrick Rothfuss and myself as we explain Epic Fantasy to everyone, in less than an hour! And afterwards, we will all be signing our respective books. Later that Thursday, at 8 PM, Anne Groell of Random House will be doing an interview with me in Room 9.
I have two other signings at the Random House Booth #1514 on Friday, at Noon and at 2 PM.
I will be wandering the convention for the full weekend, so please don’t hesitate to stop me and say Hi!
And when I return . . .
AUGUST 4, AT 7 PM at University Book Store in Seattle Washington, we will be launching Fool’s Assassin! Yes, that’s a bit ahead of the official date but as I’ll be in England then, we wanted to get some books out to readers before I left. Signed books may be pre-ordered, as well. Details are HERE
If you cannot meet up with me in England and cannot come to the signing in Seattle, you can still get a signed first edition of Fool’s Assassin. Please visit The Signed Page, a website owned by Shawn Speakman. There you can pre-order not only Fool’s Assassin but all sorts of hardback first editions, and Shawn will arrange to have them personalized, signed, and then shipped to you so they arrive in meticulous condition. Shawn has a substantial backlist of signed stock so even if you have missed the publication date, you can still get a signed first edition.
